Shaquille O'Neal, aka DJ Diesel, to play Large 4 throughout Stampede

Basketball nice Shaquille O’Neal will probably be performing on the Large 4 Roadhouse throughout the 2023 Stampede, albeit beneath his electronic-dance music persona DJ Diesel.

DJ Diesel is scheduled to carry out Friday, July 7. O’Neal, who has launched hip-hop albums previously, took on the DJ Diesel persona in 2015.

Different headliners scheduled throughout the Stampede, which runs fromJ July 7 to July 16, embody Dwayne Gretzky, a 10-piece nostalgia act that covers everybody from “Fleetwood Mac to Fatboy Slim”;  Los Angeles trio Cheat Codes; American indie act Lord Huron; and hip-hop artists Large Boi, Lil Yachty, Ferg and icons Cypress Hill. Alt-rockers X Ambassadors, lure artist Murda Beatz, DJ Pauly D, Grammy-winning Jamaican singer Koffee, R&B/soul ensemble St. Paul & The Damaged Bones, Canuck folkie Donovan Woods, DJ and producer Nicky Genesis, Toronto’s Wild Rivers, Winnipeg singer-songwriter Begonia and native acts Danny Nix and the Warmth, Kate Stevens and the Comets and Jory Kinjo.
