Brooks: Calgary's influential ladies saluted at gala

Greater than 1,200 friends attended the Axis Connects’ hosted Calgary Influential Girls in Enterprise Awards gala on April 13 on the Telus Conference Centre. Premier Danielle Smith supplied opening remarks, including to the cache of the black-tie occasion. Others in attendance this evening included: Axis Connects govt director Nuvyn Peters with board chair and co-founder Heather Culbert, Jenna Kaye (governance chair), Marnie Smith (audit chair), Katie Smith-Father or mother (director), and Brenna Hardy; ATB president and CEO Curtis Stange with CFO Dan Hugo, board chair Joan Hertz, and director Maryse Saint-Laurent; previous U of C president Elizabeth Cannon; Deloitte’s Tim Onyett; United Means’s Karen Younger; Mike and Linda Shaikh; Mawer’s Craig Senyk; Transalta’s John Kousinioris and his spouse Amanda; Calgary Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Deborah Yedlin together with her husband Martin Molyneaux; RBC’s Jeff Boyd; and occasion sponsor Postmedia colleagues Lorne Motley, Dean Jager, Monica Zurowski and Michele Jarvie.
